The Swan is an idyllic, peaceful pub, hotel and restaurant immediately adjacent to a very large
island in the river Thames. There are lots of boats moored all around the island and you'll
doubtless see some of them chugging along.You can just have a drink, or else bring that special someone for a delightful evening meal, either indoors, or outside in the picturesque riverside garden watching the boats go by. The menu varies from traditional fare (such as Wiltshire Ham) to more exotic options, and of course specials on the board.
On the opposite side of the river you will be also able to gaze admiringly at a beautiful collection of classics (including yours!) There is also history! You will see the oldest bridge over the Thames (11/1200s). If you go for a wander around the island you might also find a World War II pill box.
If you want to make a day of it, then arrive early and walk along the Thames Path National Trail. Or contact the Swan in advance and arrange to hire one of their boats (26' & 35').

The Swan is on the A4095 between Witney and Faringdon, just where it crosses the river Thames.
It's about 20 miles from Oxford and 15 miles from Swindon.
From Oxford you can go West on the A40 - its then about 8 miles South of Witney.
Alternatively you can use the A420 - it's then about 2.5 miles North of Faringdon.
There is also the country route through Bampton on the B4449.
When you get to Radcot you will find that there are two bridges over the Thames with two sets of traffic lights.
We will be parking all the classics together in the Paddock. Go over one of the bridges and
then turn into the Swan overflow car park. Go through the car park into the Paddock.
Park alongside the other classics and walk over the bridge to the hotel.
