PlaceAbingdon Airfield (Dalton Barracks), OX13 6JB (Dalton Barracks)
One of the highlights last year was the Chinook performing manoeuvres that were clearly impossible!
This year the show will be opened by Polly Vacher MBE, who has set many records in her two round-the-world flights raising money for charity. (If you visit Wings Around The World, you will see that later this month she's setting off on an Around Britain Challenge.)
This year we will have the Jaguar Enthusiast Club Raffle car at Abingdon. You can win a two year old car for a £1 ticket, and support charity!
The car is an immaculate, low mileage 2004 Jaguar XK8 4.2 litre coupe. It is fully equipped with satellite navigation, adaptive cruise control and 19" alloys. Raffle tickets are £1 each - a book of five for £5.
Last year's raffle raised £25,000 for Cystic Fibrosis. This year's charity is the NSPCC. Support a really good cause and be in with a chance to win a fabulous car!

Classics will enter the Airfield from the North this year (not the South as previously). The southern entrance will be used by the general public. We are requested to be there by 09.45!
From the North, or North Oxford
Leave the A34 at Botley and follow the A420 Dual Carriageway, West for 2.2 miles. Take the second exit at Cumnor and follow the B4017 (Cumnor Road) South through Wooton. After another 2.2 miles (and the speed camera) turn Right into Honeybottom Lane opposite the garage (Harley Davidson / Seat). After 0.8 mile the North entrance to the airfield is on the Left hand side. This route should avoid the general public making their way to the South entrance. Please do not approach from the West through Cothill village.
From the South, or South Oxford
Leave the A34 at Hinksey. Travel West up Hinksey Hill, continue along Foxcombe Road and Fox Lane. After 2.3 miles you will reach the B4017 by the garage (Harley Davidson / Seat). Go straight across the staggered crossroads into Honeybottom Lane. After 0.8 mile the North entrance to the airfield is on the Left hand side. This route should avoid the general public making their way to the South entrance. Please do not approach from the West through Cothill village.
From Abingdon
Follow the B4017 North towards Wooton for about 2 miles from the town centre. Opposite the garage (Harley Davidson / Seat) turn left into Honeybottom Lane. After 0.8 mile the North entrance to the airfield is on the Left hand side. Please do not approach from the West through Cothill village.
We have been asked to promulgate the following. Please note that the concern is about 'unsupervised' vehicle movements.
The committee would like to thank you for attending this years' event with your vehicle & we hope you have pleasant & relaxing day with us. There are a few rules that we have to stipulate because of HSE regulations.
1 All Vehicles must be in the show area by 0945. No unsupervised vehicle movements will be allowed after this time until 1700.
2 Any vehicle movements will be marshalled to & from the show arena
3 No Exit before the public gates have closed - those wishing to leave early must seek approval so that we can marshall you to the correct exit & reduce any risk to the members of the public.
4 No BBQs or camp fires
5 Always follow instructions from the Marshalls
6 The show organisers are not responsible for any loss or damage whilst you are on MOD land
7 Please be careful of pedestrians at all times.
